Clive Owen Loses Face in Creepy Poster
A poster for Clive Owen’s upcoming psychological thriller ‘Intruders‘ has just been released. The film also stars Daniel Bruhl and Ella Purnell.
The story of the film is a doozy, I’ll tell ya. Though no one can see him, Hollow Face lurks in the corners, desperately desiring love but only knowing how to spread fear and hate. He creeps into the life of John Farrow (Owen) after Farrow’s beloved 13-year-old daughter Mia (Purnell) is assaulted in their home. The line between the real and the imaginary blurs as fissures start to open within the family unit. It seems that no security measure can keep Hollow Face out.
First off, yes, his daughter’s name is Mia Farrow.
Second, the poster, which you can check out below, is creepy as hell. Could be just me, but faceless people freak me out.

While the story is pretty interesting, we’ll have to wait and see if it actually works. Owen is a pretty solid actors with a relatively equal ratio of hits to misses, but I’m always up for seeing his next flick. The director of Intruders is Juan Carlos Fresnadillo of 28 Weeks Later fame, which is an added perk as I loved that movie.
Intruders is set for release on March 30th.
