Daily Trailer: Prometheus Celebrates David’s Birthday
While Warner Bros.’ marketing team for The Dark Knight Rises seems to have taken a break until the Avengers storm as abated, the Prometheus viral campaign marches on with one stroke of genius after another.
The latest comes to us in the form of a marketing video from Weyland Industries, celebrating the birth, talents and fantastic evolution of the eighth generation of their android line, David. Just watch this:

This clip is simply full of win. The interjected Weyland logos are a piece of inspired design, while the clinical color palette and Michael Fassbender’s unnervingly cold smile shows us that everyone concerned with Prometheus appears to know. Exactly. What they. Are doing. Both the trailers and previous viral material (including this) have already created such a rich, tangible world that those who have been following are already entwined in Prometheus’ world.
We can hardly wait for June to come around.
