New ‘Snow White And The Huntsman’ Posters Send Shivers Down The Spine

Without a doubt, Universal is growing up with this film, marketing to a maturer audience than past remakes such as Tarsem Singh’s Mirror Mirror.

Compelling to most viewers are the special effects, design and a list of actors that can shape Snow White and The Hunstman far beyond entertaining. Now, I’m not going to pretend that this movie will be award-worthy (that would just be absurd), but there is room for a potential of high-level suspense.

The sneak previews of Snow White and The Hunstman, draw upon a darker tone to this famous childhood story, creating a type of tension made for the older audiences. Charlize Theron, wicked Queen Ravenna, sends shivers down the spine in a supremely sexy, villainous way.

Escaping from the menacing clutches of Queen Ravenna, Snow White (Kristen Stewart) flees before losing her heart to the malicious desires of the Queen. Wandering in an enchanted-esque forest, Snow White meets a band of dwarven warriors, (Bob Hoskins, Eddie Izzard, Ray Winstone), who help protect her in an attempt to save the realm.

Playing off the Queen’s ravenous nature for beauty and youth, Snow White And The Huntsman released these feathery new posters that compliment Queen Ravenna’s ability to transform into a flock of pitch-black ravens.

Now admittedly, being critical of Alice In Wonderland, I wasn’t even going to bother with this film. But given the outstanding marketing surrounding Snow White And The Huntsman, they have made a believer out of me; or at the very least, peaked my interest.

Directed by Rupert Sanders, Snow White And The Huntsman will open on June 1st, 2012
