We’re Giving Away The Alien Anthology On Blu-ray!
Filmophilia will be celebrating its 10 month-birthday in just over a week, and we can’t really believe how well things have gone so far. Originally conceived to be a platform for ramblings, some film commentary and an exercise in professional film reviewing, we now feature regular contributions from 13 aspiring film writers and journalists, have provided film festival coverages, regular news, interviews with some really, really cool people (with more on the way very soon), and more reviews than you can shake a stick at. Why? Because to our great surprise, we found out that people started to read our stuff.
To show our gratitude to our dedicated readership, we have decided to hold a little giveaway.
With the world slowly waking from its Avengers-induced daze and starting to focus on other things (sorry, Dark Shadows, you were too early), the first major landmark on our journey through this film summer is Sir Ridley Scott‘s mythological epic Prometheus, a long-anticipated pseudo-prequel to the classic Alien from 1979, premiering June 1 in the UK and June 8 just about everywhere else in the known universe.
And so we have chosen to give a copy of one of the most awesome box sets in history, the Alien AnthologyBlu-ray set, to one of our readers.
This box set not only includes both the theatrical and special editions of each film, but also an extensive package of extra material for all four films, including several featurettes, making-of episodes, isolated musical scores, an interactive experience with Weyland-Yutani datastream for every film, and even a frank documentary on the issues surrounding the troubled production of Alien3, for example, along with literally hours of other material.
“That’s fantastic, but how do I get into this draw?” I hear you screaming at your screens right now.
You simply head over to our Facebook page (or look for the Facebook widget in the right-side column) and “Like” our page.
To make this just a little bit more exciting, you can double your chances for winning the Alien Anthology box set by “tagging” us in a status or a link on Facebook. We get a notification every time someone tags us, so it’s easy for us to add your name into the metaphorical hat we’ll use to draw our winner if you do.
We thank you again for the awesome turnout we’ve had to our site so far, and continue striving to provide fun, quality material for all you filmophiliacs out there. And there will definitely be more giveaways!
