Still Life: TV’s Hell On Wheels Out On DVD and Blu-ray, You Could Win A Copy!
In a bit of a departure from our regular programming, as we haven’t really covered TV at all on Filmophilia, we have a piece of news on a very interesting TV show, Hell on Wheels, which recently aired on AMC and is now coming out on DVD and Blu-ray via Entertainment One, and a selection of stills for your viewing pleasure.
The show takes place in the 1860s Wild West and stars Anson Mount as Cullen Bohannan, an outlaw who’s seeking vengeance on a corrupt sergeant. The other leads in this sprawling Western series are played by a diverse cast, ranging from Colm Meaney, Dominique McElligott and Ben Esler to rapper-turned-actor Common. We’ll also have a review of the series ready for you in a week or two. You can consider it our test run into the world of television, which has arguably never been bigger than right now.
What’s more, we’re giving away not one, not two, but THREE copies of the show to some of our lucky North American Facebook followers. As this is a North American release, we can only give it to our US & Canada readers, of whom there are plenty, though, so we shouldn’t have much difficulty in finding a winner or three.
The only thing you’ll have to do to have a chance of winning is to “Like” us on Facebook. No quiz, no sharing the page (although we always appreciate readers who spread the word) and absolutely no hawking for votes on a random photo. Just heading over to our page and pressing “Like” will do the trick.
And if you don’t win, you can also buy the series here.
Now, on to the stills, of which we have plenty.
