Still Life: Angelina Jolie is an Evil Witch

Production of Disney’s epic, ‘Maleficent’ has kicked into a high gear and below you will find the first image of Angelina Jolie as the titular witch. The film is a re-imagining of the classic fairytale, Sleeping Beauty, in which we see how Maleficent became the evil witch that eventually cursed the baby, Aurora.

‘Maleficent’ has a pretty incredible amount of talent behind it. Co-starring alongside Jolie are Sharlto Copley, Elle Fanning, Juno Temple, Miranda Richardson and Imelda Staunton. Robert Stromberg, two-time Academy Award-winning production designer,will be making his directorial debut, ensuring amazing visuals. Add to that writers Paul Dini and Linda Woolverton (who wrote ‘The Lion King’), and you’ve got a potentially fantastic film.
