Filming on Oblivion Wraps Early, Tom Cruise Leaves Location

Undoubtedly, most of you know that over the weekend Tom Cruise‘s wife of five years, Katie Holmes, filed for divorce. As expected the actor, who ‘memorably’ proclaimed his love for the actress on Oprah’s couch, is quite upset, with reports stating that the split came completely out of the blue and blindsided him.

The couple was in Iceland for the filming of Joseph Korsinski’s Oblivion. Production wasn’t set to wrap for a few days and Cruise had plans for a huge 50th birthday bash today. All that changed, as the actor left the country last night with his children. Reports out of the Oblivion camp are that filming has wrapped for the Iceland location, somewhat ahead of schedule.

It’s clear that Cruise’s personal conflict are at least somewhat to blame and it will be interesting to see what impact it has on the movie that filming was cut short.
