Still Life: Newest Dark Knight Rises Posters Are Even More Grandiose Than The Last

By this point there are so many posters for The Dark Knight Rises that they need no introduction. It’s hard to call the constant stream of advertising boring, but it’s certainly dragging on and on (although that’s partly due to how excited everyone is about the film). However, these posters are pretty cool: Batman poses histrionically as light pours down (equally melodramatically) on him and Gotham in the shape of the Bat symbol; Bane’s head looms over his minions on a poster that has hints of the style employed by extreme political parties; graffiti of Bane’s face, as well as the word ‘Rise’, covers the entrance to a Gotham sewer. It’s all very over the top in a controlled way. But seriously guys, can we just have the film now?
