Still Life: First Look at the New Q in Skyfall

Daniel Craig‘s James Bond has his quartermaster. Ben Whishaw will be slipping into the iconic role of Q, previously played by the late, great Desmond Llewelyn, in the upcoming Sam Mendes directed Skyfall. Bathe in his geek-chic glory. Don’t count on him playing the role for 40 years though.

Producers Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli commented, “It’s a real thrill to confirm the return of Q in SKYFALL played by the enormously talented, Ben Whishaw. We are delighted to have this beloved character back in the series.” But then of course they’d say that.
