Star Wars 3D Re-Releases No Longer Annual
To the chagrin of most, the post-converted 3D re-release of the entire Star Wars saga was announced a while back. The hoopla kicked of with The Phantom Menace this past February, with the plan being to release them annually going forward. That’s no longer on the cards.
Just announced at Celebration VI, via social networks, 2013 will see the release of both Attack of the Clones and Revenge of the Sith, in September 20th and October 11th respectively. No official reason has been given for the change of schedule.
At least we don’t have to wait until 2014 for a good Star Wars film in the theaters. Too bad that it’ll be in 3D.
