The first film in the series, scheduled for theaters in December, will be titled ‘The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey‘ as most of you know. The second, now titled ‘The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug‘, is set to amaze us in December of next year. The third entry in the trilogy has taken on the title ‘The Hobbit: There and Back Again‘, and will officially hit theaters on July 18th, 2014.
While a year separates the first two films of the series, Warner Bros. explained they wanted to have a shorter gap between the second and third installments. We’re sure fans won’t mind.
