Still Life: Thor: The Dark World Set Photos Show Off Fantastical Battle

Thor: The Dark World, the first piece of Marvel’s Phase 2, is currently filming in England and they don’t seem to concerned with security as a heaping pile of candid set photos have made it out into the wilds of the internet.

Most of them are actually pretty cool, showing off a large battle between our heroes and what are probably dark elves (or perhaps orcs). Check out the gallery below for Chris Hemsworth looking imposing and then rather quite silly, the ravishing Jaimie Alexander riding into battle (from the looks of it Sif might play a larger role in this one, yay!), a whole bunch of humanoid creatures and some entertaining snaps at people hanging around the set.

Of course, filming will reportedly move to Iceland later on, so expect more freezing set pics in the future.
