Daily Trailer: Lincoln Unveils Daniel Day-Lewis

Earlier this week, we posted the first teaser trailer for Steven Spielberg’s Lincoln in anticipation of the full trailer being released during the Google + Q&A.  Now that the full trailer is online, we finally get a good look at the transformation of Daniel Day-Lewis into Abraham Lincoln.  The trailer holds our suspense to hear the legendary president speak till far into video. But when Day-Lewis’ honest Abe impression is revealed, well, let’s just say it wasn’t quite what we expected. Nevertheless, the film appears to be a fantastic Spielberg rendition of one of America’s most historic figures. If it wasn’t clear already, this film, (as it stands now) is a must see.

The film also stars Joseph Gordon-Levitt, David Oyelowo, Sally Field, Tommy Lee Jones, James Spader, John Hawkes, Michael Stuhlbarg, David Strathairn, Walton Goggins, Tim Blake Nelson, Bruce McGill, Jackie Earle Haley, Lee Pace and Jared Harris. 

Lincoln opens on November 16th, 2012.
