Still Life: ‘Hitchcock’ In Front of the Curtain For New Poster

Fox Searchlight Pictures has just released a poster for their upcoming ‘Hitchcock’, starring Sir Anthony Hopkins as legendary director Alfred Hitchcock. They also announced that the film, directed by Sacha Gervasi, will see a limited theater run in the U.S. starting November 23rd.

The film, which also stars Helen Mirren, Scarlett Johansson, Toni Collette, Jessica Biel, Danny Huston and James D’Arcy, is based on the book ‘Alfred Hithcock and the Making of Psycho’ by Stephen Rebello. The book is a love story between Hitchcock, one of the most influential and, well, scary filmmakers of all time, and his wife Alma Reville. As the title suggests, both the book and film take place during the making of Hitchcock’s seminal ‘Psycho’, one of, if not the, biggest horror classic of all time.

As you can see, Sir Anthony Hopkins looks damn near identical to the Hitchcock with help from some clearly talented makeup artists. Scroll on down to check out the whole poster, and don’t even pretend he doesn’t scary you a bit.
