An international trailer for Chan-wook Park‘s Stoker has emerged online. Similar to the first trailer that debuted last week, Stoker releases another dark, creepy, and unsettling clip of an absolutely fascinating upcoming film.
Centering around a young girl’s (Mia Wasikowska) encounter with her mysterious uncle (Matthew Goode), the film’s plot seems to combine Lolita and The Professional with heavy does of serial killing. There are also some strange layers going on between the girl and her mother (Nicole Kidman) as Wasikowska mourns the death of her father (Dermot Mulroney). We’ve seen two trailers for the movie so far, and its safe to say we are excited. Not only do we have no idea what to expect, but seeing what Wasikowska can do in the lead should be interesting enough.

Here’s the official synopsis for Stoker:
After India’s (Wasikowska’s) father dies in an auto accident, her Uncle Charlie (Goode), who she never knew existed, comes to live with her and her emotionally unstable mother (Kidman). Soon after his arrival, she comes to suspect this mysterious, charming man has ulterior motives, but instead of feeling outrage or horror, this friendless girl becomes increasingly infatuated with him.
Stoker also stars Jacki Weaver, Lucas Till, and Alden Ehrenreich and opens on March 1st, 2013.
