We Have A New Logo – But Who Made It?
Recently we updated the look of our site (and are constantly working on making it even better), and in that process, getting a respectable logo was the most important step.
After a lot of searching, we found out that one Nick Powell has a design streak in him, and he came up with both our logo and the nifty little browser icon you’ll see in the address bar.
But who is this Nick?
Nick Powell is a full time blogger for The Cinematic Katzenjammer. Beginning in January, his goal was to watch and review a different movie each day in 2012 and he’s actually kept up with it. Now, as the year’s end approaches, Nick plans on branching out and expanding the site, adding in new articles, lists, and reviews each day. He’s also done an astonishing design job on his own site, so by all means check it out (the material’s not exactly shabby, either). He’s also written a couple of articles on Filmophilia, but his main focus for us is to dabble in the aesthetics.
He’s made a few versions of our logo, and will hopefully continue to do cool event and holiday versions for us, starting with the Halloween version for 2012. Below are some of the trial versions, and by all means tell us which one you think is coolest. It might just affect our decision-making. Who knows.
