Daily Trailer: Iron Man 3 Takes Everything Away From Tony Stark

It’s been teased and teased but now it’s here, the first full length trailer for Marvel’s Iron Man 3.

They weren’t kidding about taking a dark turn for Tony. He seems haunted by the aftermath of the New York battle at the end of The Avengers, doubting himself and having trouble sleeping. And just as all that’s keeping him down a new, previously unseen enemy decides to strike at him, when he’s at his weakest. Ben Kingsley‘s Mandarin is ominous as hell, bringing with him the hope that Iron Man will finally have a proper villain to face.

They certainly are switching things up and so far out looks fantastic. Lets hope this one falls closer to Iron Man than Iron Man 2 on the quality scale.

Iron Man 3, written (along with Drew Pearce) and directed by Shane Black, comes out on May 3rd, 2013. The threequel stars Robert Downey Jr., Gwyneth Paltrow, Ben Kingsley, Rebecca Hall, Don Cheadle, Guy Pearce, Jon Favreau and Paul Bettany.
